Support, Community and Empowerment
Because of your generosity Rise Together Education is currently supporting 60+ amazing college students who are 85% first-generation college and BIPOC. We provide a scholarship, one-on-one mentoring, and a supportive community. You are helping to invest in the future of our young neighbors and friends from *extremely low-income families! RTE scholars flipped the statistics with an 80% 4-year college graduation rate for first-generation college students!
*Extremely low-income is defined as an annual household income of $55K for a family of four and represents about 10% of the students who attend Paly or 50 students per grade.

What We Do
Paly’s RTE provides support and financial resources to Palo Alto High School students from low-income families to help reach their dreams of graduating from college. Join us!
Your support and financial gift to our volunteer-run organization make an enormous positive impact on the lives of students from socio-economically disadvantaged background. One scholarship for a four-year college student is $3,500 per year and one scholarship for a community college students is $750 per year.
Community
RTE encourages and supports students to connect to our network of mentors, other students, jobs, internships and professional career contacts.
Empower
We provide scholarships to help students fill their financial gap, nurture their potential, and help them achieve their educational dreams.
Our Work is Impossible Without Your Generosity
Launched in 2015, Paly’s Rise Together Education has awarded need-based scholarships to over 119 Paly graduates from the classes of 2015 through June 2024. Our scholars have overcome significant financial and personal hardships to excel academically.
As an all-volunteer organization, RTE needs your help - see below for ways to make a tax-deductible contribution. Each scholarship is up to $3,500 per year depending on the type of higher education institution.
OUR MISSION: RISE TOGETHER EDUCATION (RTE) IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING COLLEGE GRADUATION RATES BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO LOW-INCOME PALO ALTO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO FOUR-YEAR COLLEGES OR TWO-YEAR COMMUNITY COLLEGES.
